Dr. Richard Martin, DDS
Almost a native, Dr. Martin arrived in Arizona at the age of 5. He graduated from Phoenix Union High School and Northern University, majoring in a pre-dental program with a double minor in music and chemistry. Dr. Martin attended Northwestern University Dental School, located in downtown Chicago. In 1973 he moved back to Arizona and set up his practice in Glendale. Dr. Martin volunteers his time in Mexico with Dental outreach programs, providing dental care for children and had completed 68 short-term dental clinics in Mexico and Nicaragua. He finds great joy in providing dental care for the children at Esperanza para los Ninos in Rocky Point and Emmanuel Home of Protection outside of Managua, Nicaragua. He also is actively working to set up and equip a dental clinic in the San Rafael barrio of Rocky Point, where there is no dental care available. Besides dentistry, Dr. Martin adds his deep bass voice to his church choir where he is a proud member of the Glendale Kachina Rotary Club. Dr. Martin is excited to have recently joined the practice of Dr. Singh and his wonderful staff, where he is confident that his patients with be treated with excellent care, state-of-the-art dentistry, and concern for their overall welfare and dental health.
