Many of our patients ask for their hygienist by name and have seen the same assistant for years. That is on purpose. Dr. Jupneesh Singh and Dr. Luis Iniguez have built a team that stays, and it shows in how calm the office feels.
Below you will find the doctors' backgrounds and a short note on everyone you will meet at Singh Smile Care, from the front desk to the hygiene room. We have included a fun fact for each person, because we would rather you know us as people.
Dr. Jupneesh Singh earned his bachelor's degree in Microbiology from the University of Texas at Austin. His interest in dentistry started in seventh grade, when he decided at age 12 that he wanted to be a dentist. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.
Dr. Luis Iniguez grew up in Flagstaff, Arizona. He earned a degree in Biology from the University of Arizona, then attended Northwestern University Dental School in Chicago, graduating in 1999. He returned to Arizona to marry his wife, and the couple moved to Tucson, where he completed a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency.
Fifteen people keep Singh Smile Care running, and several of them have worked in dentistry since the 1980s and 1990s. Here is who you will meet, in the order you are likely to meet them: the front office, your hygienist, and the assistants who work alongside the doctors.
Mandy has over 12 years in the dental industry. She is a certified K-8 schoolteacher with a bachelor's degree in Business/Accounting, and she taught for a few years before joining Dr. Singh's practice. She enjoys shopping, traveling, movies, and time with her three children.
Kim started as a dental assistant in 1998 while serving in the Army Reserves. She lived in Europe for seven years and in Korea for two, where she taught English to Korean children. Now a dedicated hygienist, she loves exercising and family time. Baking is how she relaxes, and she often brings treats for her coworkers.
Diane began right out of high school as a dental assistant, fell in love with dentistry and became a hygienist. She values patient care and the relationships she builds. She enjoys hiking, working out, cooking, trips up north, and time with family. Her newest joy is her first granddaughter, Autumn.
Melissa is a lifelong Arizona native. She loved visiting the dentist as a child, started as a dental assistant in high school, and has been a hygienist since 2003. She is married to her high school sweetheart and has two teenagers. She spends her free time watching her daughter wrestle and her son play baseball.
Ernesto was born and raised in Cuba and moved to Arizona in 2005. He graduated from Sunnyslope High School, then from NAU in 2016 with a bachelor's degree in dental hygiene. He plans to become a dentist. He plays basketball, baseball, and soccer.
Shelley has been in the dental field since 1987. She helps patients meet their dental needs and answers financial questions, and she aims to help every patient feel comfortable and understand their procedures. She enjoys fishing in Alaska and traveling to her children's sporting events.
Kandy has lived in the Phoenix area since 1974 and has worked in dentistry ever since. She is passionate about helping patients. She spends her free time with family and visiting the zoo.
Chris was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and moved to the Phoenix area in 2016. She has worked in dentistry since 1989. She hikes, reads, and spends time with her husband.
Sadie is a proud mother of two boys and a country girl living in a big city. She has been interested in dentistry since age 7. Her goal is to change how patients feel about the dentist, from dreading appointments to looking forward to them.
Maria was born and raised in Mexico City. She moved to Arizona in 2014 and lives in the Peoria area. She has worked in the dental field since 2021. Outgoing and cheerful, she enjoys time with family and friends.
Damary has six years in dentistry. She was raised in a small town in New Mexico. She enjoys being part of each patient's path to a new smile. She likes hiking and time with friends and family.
Amy is a Midwesterner from Ohio who has lived in Arizona most of her life. She has been a dental assistant since 1987. A people person with a compassionate heart, she enjoys comforting patients in the chair. She is married with two children. Her hobbies are running, hiking, camping, and cooking and baking for friends and family.
Courtney was born in Texas and grew up in Arizona. She started her dental career in 2002 and is passionate about learning everything about dentistry and helping patients overcome their fears. She is married with two children, Logan and Riley. She enjoys family time, cooking, and outings.
Tiffany was born in California, raised in Washington, and has lived in the Phoenix area since 2000. She has worked in dentistry since 2008 and enjoys surgical assisting most. She married her best friend in 2019 and has two sons. She enjoys sampling at Sam's Club, and on weekends, reading, yoga, and spiritual retreats.
Felicity was born and raised in Southern California. She moved to Arizona in 2019 and started as a dental assistant. She enjoys assisting with surgeries and with Botox and filler. She has had a cat named Bobby since 2017. She enjoys long drives, travel, festivals, and making blankets.
Yes. Tell us when you book, and we will do our best to schedule you with the person you prefer. Many of our patients have seen the same hygienist for years.
Both Dr. Singh and Dr. Iniguez see patients at our Glendale office. If you have a preference, let the front desk know when you book. All of the work in our Smile Gallery was performed by Dr. Singh.
Yes. He is an adjunct faculty member at A.T. Still University's Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health in Mesa, AZ, and he takes hundreds of hours of continuing education each year.
